South Africa has so far scored the highest 200 in the T20 internationals, 200 times. For the first time South Africa had scored 200 against Australia in Johannesburg on 24 February 2006. In that match, South Africa had scored 201/4 and won two in the exciting encounter.

The record for the highest score in an innings is 241/6, which was made against England on 15 November 2009 Centurion.

Australia made the 200 for the first time on February 17, 2005 in Auckland against New Zealand. In that match, Australia scored 214/5 and won by 44 runs.

The record of the highest score in an innings is 263/3, which was made on September 6, 2016 in Pallikele against Sri Lanka and is also a world record.
